Headshot of Hanna Nichols smiling

Hi there! Glad you're here. I began Big Picture Impact in 2019 after working as a teacher, then for over a decade in Colorado's nonprofit sphere on collaborative approaches to some of society's toughest issues. It was through working with people in such diverse spaces and backgrounds that I developed a passion for community engagement, storytelling, and the power of groups to work together to make an impact. I am happiest supporting individuals and groups to unearth what's important to them, helping to craft a strategy to inflict change, then stepping back and watching them run with what they've created. You might hear me quote Ted Lasso, adrienne maree brown, and use my hands too much while I talk. Fun fact: I recently moved back to Colorado after 2.5 years living in Bassano del Grappa, Italy with my partner and kiddo. Ciao!

Hanna's Work History and Education

I am a former team member at The Civic Canopy where I was embedded in the power of people to solve our biggest social problems. Prior to this I worked at the Colorado Children’s Campaign where I developed a passion for policy development and collaborative efforts to ensure every child and family can access what they need to thrive. I received my teaching degree and Bachelor’s in History from the University of Colorado-Boulder, and a Masters in Public Administration at the University of Colorado-Denver. I am also an alumna of the Buell Early Childhood Leadership Program. I am currently in the process of becoming ICF certified as a personal coach.
