Values Guiding the Work

These values serve as the compass for how every project, meeting, and interaction is approached through Big Picture Impact.

Generous Authority

It is Big Picture Impact's role to create containers for group empowerment through keeping groups accountable to shared agreements, norms, and guiding principles.

Abundance

A commitment to the belief that  people have the answers, ability to discover new possibilities, and inflict change, even amidst changing social, political, and interpersonal dynamics.

Impact

When people meaningfully connect, lean into conflict, and remain flexible, their impact can be greater. Big Picture Impact commits to keeping on track through clear agendas, transparency of information, and celebrating progress.

Multipartiality

Rather than act as a "neutral" party, BPI practices a commitment to shared goals and visions while holding space for breaking down dominant culture and assumptions connected to white supremacy and patriarchy.

Commitment to advancing equity

BPI believes our work cannot be accomplished without a clear commitment to equity across race and culture. BPI is committed to implementing practices of accessibility, inclusion, and anti-oppression and continuously learning new ways to design spaces and conversation where participants can feel a sense of inclusion and belonging. This includes practices of power sharing, providing diverse modes of engaging and participating, and continuously using accessibility tools like closed captions, alt text, and language interpretation wherever possible,
